Nankhatai
These are my childhood favorite. Now I enjoy baking them for my Sonshine. Flavored with exotic cardamom flavor, I am sure you will love baking them and relishing them. Don't forget to share!
Palmiers
these simple heart-shaped cookies will steal your heart. They are so very easy to make with store-bought puff pastry sheets. Sweet, crispy, and flaky, they will leave you craving for more.
Rigo Jancsi
This should satisfy any chocolate craving you have. Chocolate cake layers filled with chocolate mousse and topped with chocolate ganache!! Need I say more?
A little bit time-consuming process because of the steps involved, but totally worth it if you LOVE-LOVE-LOVE chocolate.
Matcha Butter Cake
This cake was my way of saying "THANK YOU!" to my neighbor. Every year, he puts up a Grinch-Inspired Christmas scenery for Christmas in his front yard. So when I was wondering what to bake for them, I came up with the idea of a matcha butter cake. the green perfectly matching the Grinch who stole Christmas.
But hey! don't wait till Christmas to bake this. Make it today.
Baked Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake
Cheesy, creamy, tangy - with the best crust to cheese filling ratio!
Oatmeal M&M Cookies
These are fun to bake with kids. You can use festive-colored M&Ms to garnish the cookies.
Baklava
This would be by far our absolute favorite dessert. Flaky pastry filled with nuts and drenched in sweet sugary goodness!! A little time-consuming, but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy. The first time I tried, it took me about an hour just to layer the sheets. Now that I have made it countless times, I can get the layers done in less than 30 minutes. You can make this in advance and is the perfect end to a party.
Zucchini Beet Bread
This is more of a summer recipe. If you are just getting into the summer spirit OR bidding adieu to summer, here is something you can bake with summer flavors.
I highly recommend this zucchini beet bread. We love it lightly toasted with some butter on top.
YUM!
Nectarine Galette
I had so much fun baking this with Sonshine. Comes together so quickly with a store-bought pastry sheet. The perfect way to spend the sunny afternoon.
