Peach Yogurt Breakfast Bowl is the answer to how-to-get-breakfast-ready-in-5-minutes!!! My Indian friends, this is peach lassi for breakfast! Balle Balle!
It is so wonderful to have you here!!
Today’s recipe is yet another breakfast dish. BTW, did you get a chance to try the Bisi Bele Bath recipe yet? It is an exceptionally delicious breakfast that you can make. Trust me!
Anyways, coming back to today’s recipe, I had planned to post this recipe over summer. Because peaches were in season and we were binging on this peach yogurt bowl late spring and early summer.
It was peach season, baby!
So, early summer, when we went berserk with summer produce, we treated ourselves to this delicious Nectarine Galette, binged on fresh fruits and also made this yummy peach yogurt bowl for breakfast.
Check out the recipe, this breakfast bowl literally takes only two ingredients and less than 5 minutes to make.
But don’t get fooled by the garnishes. The garnish ingredients are more than the actual ingredients. This silky smooth peach flavored yogurt deserves something crunchy and my list of garnishes not only add that special crunch but also add up the nutrition.
Like I said earlier, this was our main breakfast dish over early summer, when peaches were in season. But sharing the recipe for peach yogurt breakfast bowl did not happen over the summer(really sorry about that). I had shelved it (recipe as well as the photos) to be shared next year. But as luck would have it, I saw peaches at the grocery store yesterday. Probably the last batch, last few remnants of the gorgeous summer we had.
So, I said, Hey! why not share the recipe ASAP?
This breakfast is inspired by the Indian lassi (where yogurt is flavored with fruits, rose essence etc.). And mango lassi is extremely popular.
Balle! Balle! I made peach lassi for breakfast (following the footsteps of mango lassi).
This peach yogurt is yummy, guarantees full tummy and it hardly needs any effort.
It is magic!
Wash, chop, blitz – and voila!
You have your own peach yogurt breakfast bowl ready.
And before I give you the recipe, here is a quick note to make it vegan and gluten-free.
Instead of regular yogurt, use a dairy free yogurt and either skip the granola or make sure you use a gluten-free granola.
I love recipes that can be tweaked easily.
